Cold Front Performance T's improve power, speed and endurance.
Regardless of an athlete’s level of fitness, competition, or the ambient temperature, there is a critical limiting core body temperature (40°C) at which point athletes are forced to either reduce exercise intensity or risk heat-related illness.
Because the amount of heat stored in the body will limit the duration of exercise at a given intensity, any strategy that reduces or delays the onset of sweating will result in improved performance. Research indicates that lowering torso temperature by 7°C, to approximately 29°C - similar to the temperature of a warm swimming pool - and maintaining that level of cooling for 25 minutes prior to competing provides performance enhancement of up to 7%.
Maintaining cooling during an event until now has not been possible, however with Cold Front Performance T and Performance Recharge it is now possible to delay and reduce sweating for even longer, allowing even greater performance benefits.
Research suggests that performance enhancement also occurs due to the fact that Glycogen not required for the function of sweating is available for the muscles to use as power.
As Cold Front Performance T relies on evaporation, wearing clothing underneath or on top of your Cold Front Performance T will reduce its benefits.
Cold Front Performance T improves power, speed and endurance.
